My kids

I am having a hard time believing that my kids are growing up. Taitem is 10 now and she is starting to mature. It is hard to realize that she's not a little girl anymore. She has grown to be a beautiful young lady and very polite. We need to work on the outgoing thing because that is something she's not. She is quite shy. My mom says it's because of homeschooling. However I know she's wrong only because I was shy like that. Her dad is shy too. She is at that age where she wants to keep playing with dolls and barbies and polly pockets but she's not sure if she should. I tell her play away baby. Just recently she has gotten back into barbies. Which makes me happy. Her and Grace play with them all the time right now. It is really funny especially since my sister gave them some of her barbie stuff. My sister never really got to play barbies like my girls get to. She's only 12 but acts like she's 18. It's sad that my little sister never really got to be little. It is a pretty big age gap between 12 and 29. Anyway. She plays barbies however when she's here. Taitem has started taking advantages of showers. She is really enjoying them. The funny part about that is she used to ask to take a shower. I told her yesterday that she doesn't have to ask anymore. She was like "REALLY?? That's so cool." When I told her dad about that he just chuckled. I found it funny too. Now however, she's taking two or three showers a day. But I think it's because it's been so humid around here. I don't blame her at all. I'm proud of my oldest daughter. She's growing up well.

Bubba is my hardest child I think. I'm more of a girly girl I guess. I try to do some boy things with my Bubba but sometimes it's so hard. Hunter is 8 and sometimes I still think of him as a toddler. I've seen him grow so much and he's maturing so much too. His shoulders are broadening and his voice is starting to mature too. He likes a lot of things. He mostly loves video games. I have a hard time with that because I want to be out with him doing stuff but he would rather stay inside and play video games. I am proud that my little man is growing up good. I find it funny that sometimes he's nasty to his sisters or picks on them like brothers should do.

Princess Grace is the youngest child. She is my princess. I still baby her quite a bit. Sometimes however she is treated much older than she is. She is 6 right now. She has the attitude of an 8 year old. This child is the one who is obsessed with clothes. She has to wear what she wants or she will not be a happy person. She has been that way since she was 2. I have had many a day where I have planned where she was to wear because we were going somewhere special and she would throw a complete fit. I am proud of the little girl she is though. She brightens my day each and every day. I don't know what I would do without her. She is very special to me.

I thank God every day for my children. They are special and dear to my heart. I love spending individual time with them but I also like spending time with them all together too. I love to watch them learn each and every day in the outside world as well as here at home with their educations. I am excited to begin the new school year with them and to watch them grow even more.

Have a good day all and keep cool
