wow

So much has happened since I have last posted here. I really miss just typing my feelings and thoughts. I am really enjoying my job a lot. I work with wonderful people. They are like a second family to me. The kids are all doing well in school. I am very proud of them. There are many days when I wish we were still homeschooling. I miss it so terribly. However I am glad that we are where we are in our life right now.
     We are looking for a new vehicle for me right now. I am excited and a little impatient about it right now. I want something nice that has good gas mileage. I want something that is bigger than my Subaru wagon right now. Some day I will get something. I just have to be patient.
       We are also talking about renovating the kitchen. We would like to take the green counter tops out and put in cranberry. We also have an unfinished cupboard next to the stove that I would love to finish. Along with that I get new curtains and some other neat things that go along with kitchen renovations. I don't need a new stove or fridge or dishwasher because the ones I have are still good. However the decor is going to be stars and hearts. Just what I wanted when we bought this house. I think with the knotty pine cupboards and walls, the cranberry color will look fantastic. We also are painting the laundry room cranberry. This should make it look a lot more inviting when we walk into the house from the garage. I would love to insulate, paint, and carpet the entryway from the garage. Then we just have two bedrooms to paint. We also need to replace pipes leading upstairs. We have to put in a vent in the downstairs bathroom, and a new window. We are dreaming of putting an addition on the porch and having french doors upstairs in the Rec room that lead out to the porch as well. I think that will really change the look of the house. Of course that is just a dream right now.
        That's about it going on here right now. I'm sure I will have more to talk about soon. I guess I'm just not in the mood for it right now.
