Sunday's at our house

Sunday's at our house tend to be just as busy as any other day of the week. This week is no different. We get up early each Sunday morning and rush around to get ready for church. The kids need to be at church by 9:15 each morning as they have Sunday school. At 10:15 church starts. Between that time, I get to spend an hour at McDonald's with my favorite person, my husband.
Each Sunday, I cherish these mornings because it gives us a chance to sit and talk and share things that we don't really get to share with each other during the week. With our kids growing, we savor this time together.

We then head to church. I love our church. It is full of loving and wonderful people. They are family. They offer children's classes, adult classes, children's church, sewing group for the ladies on Saturday mornings, nursery and preschool classes, as well as a new homeschool co-op and teen worship dance team that will be starting in the fall. Although our church family is small, it we still provide a wonderful service to the community. Right now my Community on Missions group is working with our local Recreation Center to build a new playground by one of our local ice cream shops here in town. It is exciting as there has never been a playground on that side of town. I believe that, not only will it bring people to that side of town more often, it will also bring more business to our Burger Boy Restaurant .It is exciting to be working with my church family to achieve something so great for our little town.

After church we usually have a few hours before we go to our Community on Missions group. In that time, we prepare the meal that we are intended to bring for supper. We clean the house and spend some much needed time together as a family. Our COM usually gets done at bedtime for Grace. We come home, get her to bed because she has to get up early in the morning to head to school. Thankfully, she only has a few weeks left of school. I am so excited.

So that is what my Sunday looks like. What does yours look like. Feel free to subscribe and comment on my feed. Have a fabulous day!
