Intentions

I have intended to blog for the whole month now. There has been so much on my plate that I just haven't had the time to spill my thoughts to the world. My life has been flipped upside down and right back up again. I am depending and leaning on God throughout this whole process. As much as I would like to share what is happening in our life, I really can't. It is too personal to share with hundreds and millions of people who most likely don't read my blog anyway. I can tell you a few things though.

I've been changing quite a bit. I am trying not to be so lazy with keeping up my home. My bed has been made every day. My laundry has been washed, dried, and put away each day. I've made a schedule with what needs to be done each day and I've been trying to stick to it faithfully. I've begun to make time with the Lord more and more. This is essential to being strong for my family and helping us get through the tough times. I've begun knitting again.

I've moved my office down stairs so that I can work while the kids are doing their school work. It really hasn't proved to be a good idea since we've been using the desktop for our school work more than they have been their tablets lately. I don't mind though. I enjoy doing their school with them.

I've also begun knitting again. I've taken on new projects and have learned to make different designs. I've learned to use different stitches. This excites me so much in my learning to knit. Right now I am working on a baby blanket. This is something new that I've never done before. It is almost complete. This is what it looks like so far.

This is what the edging looks like. Isn't it beautiful?
I am making this for our pastor's wife who is expecting a baby boy in March.

This morning when my husband left for his third day of work, the dog was very sad that he left. She laid down and cried after he left. This is what she looked like this morning.

She was so sad. She'll be excited when her daddy gets home. We all will be.

This is what has been happening here lately. I hope to keep up with this more and keep you updated with some fabulous photos. Have a wonderfully blessed day.
