I'm back!

So this isn't going to be the long post that I planned but here goes nothing. Who knows, it's 5:55 in the morning and I have a few minutes before I have to do my hair and makeup and head to my wonderful work for the day.

June: We bought our house and had a few problems with the heating but we got it fixed. We are really loving our house. It is perfect for us. We are finally all unpacked an comfortable in it.

October: The kids started public school so I could look for a new job. At the time I didn't need to find one, I just felt that I needed a change. I found one at a wonderful developmental preschool. I love my job and I wouldn't trade it for the world. The problem with the job however isn't the job at all, it's my own baby. Since she has started public school, she has gotten sick a lot with high fevers and colds that she just can't kick. She has had a cold/fever combination since November off and on.

December: The brother in law comes for Christmas. It was fun and interesting but I was glad for him to go home. Those weeks that he's here can be quite long. This year however I plan on working while he's visiting.

January: We ran out of fuel and had to have emergency fuel delivered. It was a below zero night. I don't know how it happened. I guess we just need to realize that we have to check those kinds of things more often.

The Present: Bryant had an acid issue on Tuesday. It was so bad that he was having chest pains on top of it. When it was over, he was very weak. I am still worried about him because he is over weight. He doesn't take care of himself and no matter how hard I try to take care of him, it doesn't make any difference either.

I started Weight Watchers in October at a whopping 278lbs. I was so ashamed of myself for being so lazy and allowing my weight to get up so high. Right now I am currently 254. I'm at a place where I haven't been in awhile. I've kind of fallen off the band wagon a little. With stressful situations arising all over the place, I have turned to the chocolate again. It started before Christmas and just hasn't changed. However This week I have started working out. Today I ran .5 miles on the treadmill. This is something I haven't been able to do since High School when I used to run with my sister. My plan is to keep up with it. My sister works out early in the morning too so it's like running with her all over again even though she is 3 hours away.

The kids are doing well in school. Taitem has made the highest honors and I am so proud of her. She joined a book club at school. Only 2 people from each 6th grade class are picked and she was one of the kids from her class. She is really excited about this club. She thoroughly enjoys books. She is growing up so fast. Her 12th birthday is next month. I can hardly believe it.

Hunter made honors and wants to join the wrestling team at school. I am afraid to let him do it because he is so accident prone. However how will I know how he will do unless he tries it first. So I think I am going to let him try wrestling. Just as long as he doesn't try the moves on his sisters.

Grace is excelling beautifully at school. She says that she is bored. But that's my Grace. She is still all about that social. She has made all honors as well and I am so proud of her. What can I say. She's my baby. She is trying so hard to grow up. Each day she shows a little more big girl attitude toward her looks. (doing her hair, changing her clothes a zillion and one times, putting on her jewelry. That kind of stuff)

As for Bryant and I. Well we are doing wonderfully. He's the love of my life. I am proud to be his wife. I know he is proud to be my husband. He sees the changes in me as I am losing weight and he loves it as much as I do.

My current goal is to be out of the 250s. I am hoping to get there next week. With all this working out and eating well, I know I can do it. Now to get the chocolate out of my house.

This summer we are planning on going to the family reunion up in St. Francis. I am so excited. I haven't seen some of these people since the kids were really little. After that, we are going to take a family vacation somewhere hopefully. I would really love to since we have never really done that. I don't know where we will go but I'm sure we will figure that out when the time comes.

Okay. Time to go dry the hair, put on the makeup and prepare for my day. Thankfully I can do it while the kids are still sleeping. They don't have school today. Hubby and them all get to stay home! Lucky them. However lucky me, I get to go spend it with some of my favorite people.

I hope you all have a great day! I know I will.
